Dr. Natalie Ham

I am a naturopathic medical doctor that focuses on treating women’s health issues with homeopathy. The values at Nourish incorporate my belief in the body’s natural ability to heal when given the right tools, along with a warm, fuzzy and relaxing feel; a place where you can come and HEAL, inside and out.

It is my passion to guide you back to balance (physically and mentally) and to help you heal anything holding you back from the life you deserve. I believe that when the imbalance of disease is removed, and we are truly in health, we are free to move forward in humanity as the best versions of ourselves. This gives us space to contribute to the well-being of the world and creates a ripple effect of healing to everyone in our lives and those we come in contact with.

How did this become my passion? This passion has evolved over the course of my years as a doctor but it originally started while in Naturopathic medical school where I began to study homeopathy. While under the supervision of the great Dr Stephen Messer, I began to see that true healing was not just the absence of disease, but a person coming back to themselves: returning to the things they once loved such at music, inviting in self-care and having the capacity to BE that healthy partner/parent/friend. Seeing people in their true state became in inspiration that I sought with every patient.

My passion also comes from being able to show others what is actually possible in their lives without the use of drugs and surgery, when possible. I have always felt that this piece of empowerment has been missing from modern medicine: Teaching the body to do how do what it already designed to do! There is nothing we can do that is smarter than the human body, so encouraging it to get back on coarse will lead to the most effective and lost lasting healing possible. I found this out myself first hand in Naturopathic medical school. After years of struggling with insomnia, I began to see a Naturopathic Doctor who specifically used homeopathic medicine. Finding the correct remedy that was individualized to me and my sleep habits, stimulated my body to self-heal and within one month, my lifelong insomnia was healed.  To this day, with the exception of a few bad nights here and there, it has never returned. It was at this time I knew I needed to employ the use of homeopathy in my practice.

After completing my undergrad at ASU, I completed four years of medical school at the Sonoran University of Health Sciences (formerly Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences) and accepted the family practice residency at SCNM.   During this time, I was fortunate to be trained by my mentor Dr. Stephen Messer, ND in addition to training by Dr. Andre Saine.  After my residency completed, I was accepted as second year homeopathic resident, which was the first of its kind in the United States. I also taught homeopathy and was adjunct faculty at the Student Clinic. I have continued to work with the University on homeopathic research through the years, most recently participating in a study on the homeopathic treatment of long co-vid.  Along this road, I developed my passion for treating women’s health, in particular, fertility. Being a part of my patient’s fertility journeys have been such a rewarding experience.

I opened Nourish Natural Medical Center in 2015 to create a place to empower my patients with that internal ability to heal. I have chosen the doctors in this practice that are aligned with these ideals and modalities that reflect this as well. We are not trying to replace supplements for drugs - even though it is healthier version, it does not address the root cause of disease. At Nourish, my goal is to use the methods provided to stimulate your body to truly self heal.

At some point in all of this I found and married the love of my life and live with him and my two dogs in Chandler, Arizona. My husband and I love to cook and travel. I also love to learn, you will always find me listening to a audiobook/podcast, or reading a book. Additionally, I am always working on self-improvement and often share what I learn on my healing journey with my patients. Another tidbit about me is that I love yoga. It has healed me in many ways through the years. Finally, Arizona springtime is my favorite time of year: I love the blooming smells, spring training, outdoor yoga and hiking weather.
